Common problems we fix
Hover over any issue below to see what may be causing it. Our factory-trained technicians arrive fully stocked to handle the most common stove & cooktop repair problems.
-
Gas burner won't light
Usually a clogged burner port, a wet or cracked igniter, or a burner cap that isn't seated correctly, so the spark can't reach the gas.
-
Burner keeps clicking
Moisture or spills on the igniter, a faulty spark switch behind the knob, or a failed spark module that keeps firing after the flame is lit.
-
Weak, yellow or uneven flame
Clogged burner ports or a misaligned cap disturb the gas and air mix. A yellow, sooty flame should always be checked.
-
Electric burner not heating
A burned-out coil or radiant element, a damaged burner receptacle, or a failed infinite switch that controls the heat level.
-
Burner stuck on high or won't turn off
Common on glass cooktops: a failed infinite switch or a stuck relay on the control board keeps sending full power to the burner.
-
Induction cooktop errors
Error codes, pans not detected, or zones shutting off usually point to the cooling fan, a temperature sensor, or the power board.

Stove & Cooktop Repair FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about stove & cooktop repair in Los Angeles.
Do you repair gas, electric, and induction stoves?
Yes. We repair gas stoves, electric coil and smooth glass cooktops, and induction cooktops from every major brand, including Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Samsung, LG, GE, Bosch and KitchenAid.
Why does my gas stove keep clicking?
Constant clicking usually means moisture or food has reached the igniter or the spark switch behind the knob, or the spark module has failed. If drying the burner doesn't stop it, the switch or module needs to be replaced.
Is it safe to use my stove if I smell gas?
No. Turn the burners off, don't use any switches or flames, leave the house, and call your gas company from outside. Once the gas company has made it safe, we can repair the stove so it doesn't happen again.
Can a cracked glass cooktop be repaired?
The glass itself can't be patched, but the cracked glass top can be replaced while the burners and controls stay. Stop using a cracked cooktop until it's repaired, since spills can reach the electrical parts underneath.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes – a 90-day labor warranty (and we install only original parts) backs every stove and cooktop repair we perform.
